This is not a fairy tale to forget our civilisation's sins. There are no heroes to comfort us. But sometimes, it's in the worst situations that you can find the hope which will give you the strongest ambitions.
Bloody flash-back, oh yeah! But it's only a little thrilling preview... ;)
I've been wondering a long time about this chapter: should I draw a long and revealing flash-back like I first drew in my storyboard or just a little "spark" of it? I choosed the second option, so that Cassandra appears sooner and I don't reveal everything too early in the story. I must thank Dragon Noir for being eager to see Cassandra in the comic, because he made me think about my scenario again.
I wanted to finish this one sooner, but this pannel was quite complex to color (I spent a lot of time only on the first frame!) and I had to do a very important job, which wasn't planned. Otherwise I would have finished it monday, but well, I guess you're getting used to waiting the next pages... ^^'
At least I hope you like this one, because I tried to create an interesting page. I even drew backgrounds! :D (*not used to drawing backgrounds*) I took a reference for the buildings in the night: a view of New York City, pictured by Jon Arnold. No copy-paste of course, as you can see, I drew everything and choosed fitting tones to suit the comic's spirit. So it's far not as perfect as the picture but I'm still pretty satisfied with it. XD
As usually, hope you like it. ^^
PS: The next page is on its way, the drawing's done and it now needs to be inked.
